Raised in Yellowknife, NWT, soprano Diana Rockwell is a vibrant emerging artist. She is a passionate advocate for arts in the North, and loves teaching and performing in her home community. In 2026, Diana debuted as Amina in La sonnambula with VOICEBOX: Opera in Concert, was Runner Up in WMC’s Doris McLellan Competition, and Finalist in the Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition in Voice. She won First Prize at the 2023 CFMTA National Vocal Competition, and made her solo debut with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in Fall of 2024. Stage credits include Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte, SOLT), Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte, University of Manitoba), and Phoebe Dy’Squith (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, NUOVA).
