Kaela Peever, mezzo-soprano, is an upcoming artist going into fourth-year in the Bachelor of Music in Performance program at the University of Toronto. Originally from Kelowna, BC, she has previously performed with Opera Kelowna as a chorus member in Così fan tutte, Gianni Schicchi, Pagliacci, and La traviata. She was also recently the character Mary Egerton in the staging of Blest Pair of Sirens, and a chorus member in Lidarti’s Esther, alongside many gifted colleagues. Outside the practice room, Kaela enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Trixie, as well as reading and baking cookies.
