Korean-born tenor Kiho Sohn, praised as “naturally theatrical and compelling” (Opera Canada, 2022), completed his Master of Music at the University of British Columbia under Peter Barcza. He has appeared as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Fenton in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor, the Prince in Rusalka, Don Curzio in Le nozze di Figaro with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and Zhou Ping in Thunderstorm during a three-week tour of China. His expressive stage presence, linguistic versatility, and refined musicianship continue to engage audiences across operatic and concert repertoire with warmth, dramatic sincerity, vocal elegance, and distinctive artistry.
