Maria Delaney is a mezzo-soprano  currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice with a minor in Choral Conducting at McGill University where she studies with Allyson McHardy and Dr. Jean-Sebastien Vallée. She is a recipient of the four-year Schulich Scholarship as well as the Pauline Donalda Memorial Scholarship at McGill. Most recently, Maria participated in the National Youth Choir of Canada’s program and concert tour in British Columbia in May 2026. After years of singing Art song and choral repertoire, Maria is very excited to be singing in her first staged opera.
