Canadian baritone Matthew Görlitz recently completed a Master of Music in Opera Performance at the University of British Columbia, where he studied with Dale Throness. Recent performances include Don Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Burnaby Lyric Opera, the Baritone Soloist in Mozart’s Requiem with the West End Chamber Choir, and Fauré’s Requiem at Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church. Matthew is excited to join the Valley Opera Summer Intensive and continue developing his artistry alongside fellow emerging singers.
