Hello there! I’m Sergio. I was born in the city of Monterrey, Mexico. From an early age I was inclined to storytelling and performing.

I moved to Vancouver, Canada after finishing high-school to study theatre. Soon after that I started voice lessons and as I’m fond of saying it all snowballed from there.

My love for Opera comes from my love of acting, words, stories, and the gamma of human emotion. I have a zealous admiration for what composers, librettists, and stagecraft have achieved in this artistic tradition.

To me the operatic art form is the culmination of human communication. So I must be part of it, in no uncertain terms.
