Originally from Alberta, Canada, Taylor Pardell is a classically trained soprano who has a passion for opera and musical theatre. During her time in Vancouver Opera’s Yulanda M. Faris Young Artist Program, she proudly performed the role of Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and Barbarina (Susanna u/s) in Le Nozze di Figaro as part of the inaugural Vancouver Opera Festival.

Other credits include: Gilda (Rigoletto), Olympia (Les contes d’Hoffmann), and the title role in The Cunning Little Vixen (Příhody Lišky Bystroušky). Most recently, Taylor was part of the ensemble in the new musical reading of Michael Strogoff: Courier of the Tsar in New York City.

Taylor has been a soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, as well as Opera Kelowna. Ms. Pardell holds a M.Mus in Opera from the University of British Columbia and a B.Mus in Voice from the University of Toronto.
