Celebrate the season with a unique night out!

Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking 1996 rock musical was made into a film in 2005, thus continuing the robust tradition of adapting Giacomo Puccini’s world-famous opera La Bohème. In support of Opera Kelowna’s upcoming production of the opera next August, we invite you to take in the musical it inspired!

Enjoy delicious refreshments, and a musical welcome from the inimitable Melina Schein.

Then join host Rosemary Thomson and the Opera Kelowna team for a screening of the 2005 film version of Rent. Attendees will also have an on-site opportunity to win tickets for next summer’s performance of La Bohème.

Seating is general admission. Singing along is welcome but 100% optional (we invite enthusiasts to sit at the front).

Take a breath this holiday season. Enjoy the celebration of community, embrace of love in all its forms, and unforgettable singing that makes Rent iconic.

Donations will be gratefully accepted on site.
